Terms

This is an accountability product. You make a commitment, you record whether you kept it, and the product watches for signs you are about to break it. When it sees one it may message you, and if you gave permission at the start, it may tell a person you chose.

It is not a coach, a therapist, or a medical service. Nothing it says is professional advice of any kind.

Stedivo is made and operated by Mimshak Technology LLC. When these terms say we, that is who they mean, and hello@getstedivo.com reaches us.

You must be 16 or over. If you are not, you cannot use this product, and telling us otherwise at sign-up does not change that.

You can use this product without an account for as long as you are only looking. The moment you commit to something, an account exists, because a promise the product cannot attach to anybody is a promise it cannot keep.

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us if you think somebody else has it.

When you name a partner or start a challenge with other people, you are choosing to let them see specific things about your commitment. What they see is listed on the screen where you choose it, before you choose it, and the Privacy Policy says it again.

Those people did not agree to anything by being named. They can leave at any time, they can stop receiving messages without explaining why, and nothing in this product obliges anybody to keep watching you.

Do not name somebody who has not agreed to be named, and do not use this product to pressure, harass, or shame anybody.

Your commitment, your notes and your proof photos are yours. You give us permission to store them and to show them to the people you chose, which is what makes the product work at all. We claim no other rights over them.

Do not upload anything you do not have the right to upload.

Messages can fail. A push notification depends on the operating system, an email depends on a mail provider, and neither is guaranteed to arrive or to arrive on time. Do not rely on this product for anything where a missed message matters.

The service can be unavailable, and features can change or be removed while this product is still being built.

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time, on any platform that offers sign-up. What deletion does is described in the Privacy Policy.

We can suspend or remove an account that is being used to harass somebody, to break the law, or to attack the service.

This product is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of it, including a commitment you did not keep or a message that did not arrive.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

When these terms change in a way that affects you, the product will say so rather than quietly updating this page. The date at the top is the version you are reading.
